Trail Conditions: Very light coating of new snow covered weekend traffic. Edmands packed all the way to top.
Equipment: wore microspikes entire hike.
10 mph wind at summit (NWS Higher Summit Forecast way off as usual), robins at 3400' eating Sumac and at trailhead. Why haven't they migrated? Do they know something?
Mt. Clinton Rd. packed snow; my 4x4 pickup had no trouble--2 other cars in lot.
Peaks to north obscured; a great day to be out.
