I'm off work until Monday...A few other threads mention a traverse attempt. I've been throwing around the idea of hiking up Valley Way on Thursday and camping at the tent sites near tree line. Getting an early start on Friday and heading towards George. May get over the old guy or end up in Sphinx for a Friday night slumber party.
I'm no speed deamon and will be breaking in a new pair of Solomons.
Destination would be Pinkham Notch on Saturday (noonish)...it would be nice if someone else had similar plans so we could plant cars at each trail head. Dont necessarily have to hike together or have the same itinerary but finish around the same time.
