Took the dogs up to Lambert Ridge (about 0.8 miles one way, on the trail up Smarts Mtn. in Lyme) after work. On this southfacing slope there was a mix of about half snow, half bare ground. Nice to hike something bareboot-able for a change. The parking lot on Dorchester Road is half flooded, and will likely get worse when more of the ice melts.
Note: Snow increasing with altitude, so if you are going all the way to the summit, you might still need snowshoes.
