Date of Hike: 2/25/12
Conditions: A few inches of new snow on the trail but it was well packed out when we started at 9AM. Packed out bottom to top. Summit was wind scoured and icy, but you could avoid the serious ice.
Special Equipment: Traction helpful, esp on the steeper sections and summit. We started on the Whitehouse trail in microspikes but after 10 minutes of serious snow balling up, we switched to snowshoes for the rest of the ascent. Switched to microspikes for the way down and they were perfect.
Comments: A bit windy on top, and no views to be had, but overall a nice day to be out. Saw lots of other groups on the trail.
