Trail Conditions: Overall in excellent shape. First time up this ~4.4 mile trail up to Kearsarge (the south one), and it's well taken care of. Some closed in spots in open areas, but nothing more than you'd expect. A few unavoidable wet spots, one 1' deep, but not surprising given last week's rain and heavy showers last night. On the logging road down low, there's two stream crossings where the road's washed out. One is a moderate hop across, but the 2nd should be crossed by going down and around the road (avoiding the 2 slippery logs bridging it). Only blowdowns were a couple of easy walk-unders. I really liked the flat sections after the few short steeps.

Special Equipment Required: None, but the SRK Greenway guide doesn't hurt for finding the trailhead and knowing what to expect for turns. Unfortunately, they've removed the guide section from their site, but was happy to help out by buying it (this morning!). Disclaimer: no affiliation with them. Appetite for blueberries very helpful :)

Comments: Views were awful due to heavy haze, but a really pleasant trail. Started hearing thunder only 15 minutes after I left (phew!).
