Hiked Saturday 8/2.
Started up from rt 108 up the LT at 8:55 AM, reached the summit at about 10:25 AM. The caretaker on the summit said we were probably the 15th to cross the Chin that day (not bad considering he said 300 is a normal day). Fog was still in the valley to the east, partially clear views down to the west.

Black flies and other lovelies were hanging out on the summit due to the low winds so we didn't spend much time there.

The last stretch up was slippery and a bit of scrambling was required, so we decided to take the Profanity Trail (deemed the Bad Weather cutoff) off the summit to loop back around to the LT for the way down. Minor detour.

I've yet to step up to using poles in non-winter hiking, but everyone we passed had them and I could see the benefits, especially on the downhill.
