Looks like the Lowes parking lot is being taken over by the contractors that are going to be rebuilding two sections of Durand road. People have been informally parking there since it was officially closed but right now its full of piles of crushed rock. People are parking on the dirt outside the pavement at the trailhead and in the driveway to the former Bowmans Base Camp
