Hiked the Indian pass trail from the adk lodge. The trail was covered with only about 4" of snow down low. Not enough to cover all the rocks. Still used snowshoes the entire trip. A few easily crossed streams. The hike to Wallace ponds had about 3-4" of fresh powder with a solid base underneath. Both trails well marked. Crossed wall face ponds at the site of the old beaver dam. The crossing was easy with a few options of trees or rocks. Once across, we followed orange streamers for a few hundred yards to the base of the mountain, then took a fairly direct route/bushwhack to the summit ridge. The snow was 12-18", but had a fairly solid crust, so the going was pretty easy. Tagged the sign and headed back. The trail is in great shape
