Conditions - Dave (Peak576) and I encountered the usual April conditions. Even though the temp got into the 90's (85 on the summit) the snow held up fairly well for us. The ground was bare until sometime after the second crossing. The ledges were bare though there was snow in the woods between. Deep snow between the ledges and the summit. Trail was easy to follow. No blowdowns. Stream levels rose several inches during the day. Second crossing on descent resulted in boots under water, fairly strong flow of water.
Equipment - snowshoes were the choice today, carried micros but never used them.
