Bare booted to summit in reasonable conditions. Snow cushioned footfalls, no ice underneath. Ate lunch on summit in no wind and fabulous views as clouds rose from valley. Over-ruled a Watson Path descent, it would have been crazy. Used microspikes on desent to hut and half way down Valley Way. Lots of moose tracks around Madison Hut--it had come up Valley Way.
