Mt. Abraham & Mt. Ellen via Long Trail from Lincoln Gap

Trail Conditions: Trail was a mix of dry stretches & mud. 60% of the ridgeline was pretty dry. About 8 blowdowns (most older) easy to navigate around, over or under. Black flies weren't much of an issue today (maybe it was too hot!) A few rumbles of thunder on the way back and some brief drizzles, but fortunately the storm passed to the south.
Special Equipment Required: None. I'd bring bug repellent though, just to be on the safe side.
A moose was relaxing about 10 yards off the trail near the summit of Nancy Hank Peak.
