Trail mostly dry with a few muddy spots right at the beginning. Wet on slabs easy to avoid. Several blow downs easily walked around. All water crossings are bridged. Rather small remnant of an icy monorail was evident just before the summit rocks. Won't be there tomorrow.

Nice day. Crowded summit though few got there via Piper. It was a quiet trail for the most part.
