Date of Hike: Aug 26, 2012
Trail Conditions: The trails were dry as it had not rained the past couple of days. The flume slide was probably as dry as it ever gets, but still had a couple small wet spots from run offs. All stream crossings were easy to navigate.
Special Equipment Required: None. Trekking poles recommended for crossings and descent. Store them in your pack for the slide, though.
Bugs: I didn't find any problem with bugs.
Comments:
I am very pleased to have finished the NH 4K list on these two peaks. The flume slide was exhilarating and made you earn those 360 degree views! Thanks NH Ttramper for joining me!
