Trail Conditions: The overnight freeze did a lot of good for this trail, based on Bob K's report from Saturday. Crawford Connector was still a bit slushy, but once we got onto the Crawford Path, the trail was solid. Sometimes solid enough to twist an ankle on a previously slushy posthole. There was probably an inch of new snow in the parking lot and perhaps 3-5 as we approached treeline.

Special Equipment Required: We barebooted to treeline, then put on microspikes. We kept them on for the descent.

Comments: It's not quite a white carpet, but it will hold as long as the temps stay where they are. Summit was very windy with limited visibility. Someone came down the trail immediately before us on a ski-bob. It must have been lots of fun but we never got to see them. There were only six of us above Gibbs Falls all day (as far as we could tell).

P.S. after looking around on the internet, I'm not sure ski-bob is the right word for the little sled that was used, but I don't know what else to call it!
