Trail Conditions. Bare ground at the bottom. Several inches of hard crust up high. Much water ice on the trail. Second brook crossing quite dicey. I avoided it by following a herd path over to the ski area and then rejoining the trail where it nears the ski area after it climbs out of the ravine after the third brook crossing.
