NH Car Camping Question

I might head back over to NH again next week and was considering staying at Jigger Johnson Campground. Are reservations necessary or a good idea? It is Columbus weekend and I imagine getting close to peak foliage, so I wondering if a place like this will be packed? Or is it likely that tent sites would be available if I just showed up? Any thoughts?

On Columbus Day weekend it definitely pays to have reservations. Campsites will be full.
