A very short hike today in Southeast VT, in Wilmington, VT to hike Olga Mt, which from Molly Stark campground is about a 1.7 mile ROUND TRIP. I was under the impression it was 2 milesish one way. We started at the Hogback ski area cause it's free and hiked up the Tower Trail then we did the Mt olga trail loop through the state park and then back down the Tower trail. Still it was insanely early so we stopped at the nearby 100 mile tourist trap.. I mean 100 mile viewpoint for lunch and then headed over to Lake Riponda to do a 2.7 mile loop...
Nice day, firetower was very calm and in decent shape, no fencing which was unnerving a bit...
