Greeley Pond Tr. to Mt. Osceola Tr. to E. Osceola & Osceloa
Weather conditions were ideal. Temps. in mid-teen's for 8 AM start. Trail well consolidated to Mt. Osceola Tr. Mt. Osceola Tr. was well consolidated up to E.O. Slide had good cover, no problems crossing over.
Trail from E.O. to Osceloa had some windblown snow but no trouble finding it. Osceola made for a great lunch spot will little to no wind.
Saw 18 people on the trails. All trails are well trodden. By-pass around the chimney is the way to go. Not too tough, little slippery after the sun had soften up the snow.
Used crampons from lower Mt. Osceola Tr. to both peaks & back. There were times that snowshoes might have been better but the crampons in the steeps made for an easier time.
Winter 39 & 40 for Spaderman.
