In Memoriam to a Deceased Member
Trail snow-covered but bony for first mile or so. Had been broken out within past day or two, but when we got to ledges tracks stopped and we had to break out the remainder to summit.
Snow was unconsolidated mid-shin deep, except deeper where blown in on upslopes. Current warm temps will change all that.
Equipment: snowshoes a must. No other traction needed.
