Ferncroft parking: only one plow pass from road to end of parking lot, had to jump snowbank to parking...2 smaller vehicles did park ok and one got out as I was returning..road to last residence also plowed so easy walk to there and back out..
Trails: Dicey's Mill, East Loop, Walden Trail: down low on Dicey's aggravating break-through- the -crust with a few inches of granular/powder underneath...once past brook crossing more powder and more enjoyable snowshoeing...crossed on the birch log on the way up, rock hopped slightly upstream on the way back...few blowdowns on the East Loop and Walden Trails, crawl under, step around or through...
Met 2 hikers coming up Dicey's as I was descending, they were doing an out and back...also met 2 strong hikers that came across Whiteface so Rollins was broken out with at least two...so 8 tracks on Dicey's, it may not matter, pretty powdery and wind was blowing pretty good...at least a base down...not many views today, gotta do em when ya can!!
