Went up the Peabody Brook on Sunday, Trail in good condition, some water at the top, easy to go around, no blow downs, went around on the AT to Austin Brook, when you come down from the shelter, you need to watch blue blazes due to leaves it is easy to miss the trail. Would not recommend the Austin Brook, lots of logging, it is a mess. I would also spot a car if possible othewise 2.5 mile hike on the road
