Hiked Mt Pierce with some friends and my nephew yesterday. Weather was pretty chilly at the start, and the winds had yet to die down like they predicted earlier in the week.
Once we got into the woods and heading up Crawford Path things were much nicer. The sun felt pretty good too. We ended up using snowshoes up and back. The fresh powder from Friday and Saturday night had already been fairly packed down. Probably could have gotten away without them, but it was not an hindrance with them on.
Clear sky and COLD wind met us at treeline. Beautiful views and a relatively "crowded" peak.
