In Memoriam to a Deceased Member
Trail to Ike was well-packed. Lot of people using microspikes, but snowshoes were better because the trail is not as hard as it is below Pierce. The summit cone has a number of bare spots, and the new short ladders and steps were easily negotiated with snowshoes. Summit cairn is a great improvement over the old one.
