how crazy is sawyer pond on a weekend say the 11th-12th of june, or the 18-19th?
a few friends and I want to go up now that school's out, and due to jobs, weekends are our only time.
better suggestion for a spot with
swimming
easy (sub 2 mile approach)
and space for 6-8 people

Swimming?

Swimming at this time in the Whites is a bit chilly what with the ice cubes still floating around all over the place. Seriously, a quick dip to cool off or briefly clean up is one thing but it is early to do any leisure swimming.

Nice place to enjoy some friends and the woods though. I may be up there myself on the last week in June.
