Anyone been around the Sawyer River between Hancock Notch and Sawyer Pond in the last few days? I am planning a trip to Carrigan Pond Peak this weekend which entails a ford of the river. I would like to know about snow bridges and water levels. I am thinking of all the warm weather and rain and perhaps high water. Thanks. :)

Haven't been there but not sure why you think you need to ford the Sawyer River, isn't the "Foot Bridge" still there?

On the other hand, I did fall in the Swift River just off the Kanc one time but that can be avoided by starting at Lily Pond.

I am not sure about the "foot bridge". I see it on the topo map but last time I went in there in winter we just forded the Sawyer where the Hancock Notch trail intersects the Sawyer trail and bushwacked over to the old log road that goes up to the old lof yard.
