Shot Bloks

I received a free sample pack of Clif Shot Bloks /Organic Energy Chews (strawberry flavor) with my order from REI. I see that they have 5 flavors . My initial taste says they were okay so I may try some other flavors. I like energy gels but these may be a nice variation.

Has anyone tried them? Thoughts?

I've tried the lemon ones... they're ok.
I might try them out more. I like gels, but it's hard to squeeze them all out sometimes and I have the feeling of the packaging on my teeth. I haven't tried the blocks out on the field but it seems like they just might be easier to deal with.

I've used them a bunch of times and like them. They're especially good in the winter as they'll harden but won't freeze. I don't use them in the summer as they get sort of nasty with the heat. My favorite is the cran/raspberry and I get them at EMS locally.
