Date of Hike: Sunday, August 23rd
Trail Conditions: Muddy (not surprising considering the rain on Friday, Saturday, and today!). There were a couple of blowdowns, one old, another more recent. The upper sections of the trail need to be brushed out. Otherwise, the trail is in good shape.
Special Equipment Required: Bug spray, and maybe long pants, long-sleeved shirt. The black flies were maddening! Shouldn't they be gone by now?!
