Used Trails: Avalon Tr, A-Z Tr, Mt Tom Spur, Willey Range Tr, Ethan Pond Tr
Trail Conditions:
Avalon Tr: Less snow, Icy
A-Z Tr: 2-3 inches of snow, Under snow is ice
Mt Tom Spur Tr: More than 3 inches of snow, ice at some ledges
Willey Range Tr (From Tom toward Field): Mixed of packed snow + ice
(From Field toward Willey): 4-5 inches of snow + more ice
Ethan Pond Tr: Very packed snow + Ice
Used traction: All the way on the hike, 6 people wore Microspikes, 1 wore hiking crampons (as he didn't have Microspikes)
On 1/7, Microspike was enough to hike. We carried crampons, we didn't use it. Snowshoes stayed in the car.
