Windy today. Wore microspikes for the entire trip. Trail conditions were good- about 2-4" of snow down low, and more above the Esther Junction. Almost all water was frozen. Recommend gaiters for a few of the 1-2' drifts up top, it won't be long before snowshoes are appropriate up there. 10 degrees on top, and the wind was peeling off the cedar siding.
