conditions - Clear of snow to summit of D, then mixed snow and clear ground. Monorail often rotten. Trail easier to follow on return from A as 4 people were behind me in two groups. Rail often very thin, tried "duck" walking with limited success. Basically a rotten day.
equipment - poles were critical for me, for balance on rail. Wore snow shoes over to C, but needed to change in and out of them about 6 times. Just wore micros on return all the way to D - following the steps of those behind me.
other - the two other parties were apparently without snow shoes or traction and seemed to be enjoying the day.
