I picked up a Big Agnes insulated air core this year to replace an old thermarest. Its a lot like the down mat but it has primaloft for insulation instead of down,weighs the same as a thermarest, cost is close to one and if you dont like the baffles you just dont inflate all the way and they flatten out a bit. I dont know why the down mat would take 20 min. to inflate, this one inflates in about 5 min. with minimal effort. I have to say i have never gotten a better nights sleep in the backcountry, that being said I have not yet gotten into the winter backpacking scene(hopefully soon) and dont know how it would be for winter use. Worth a look I would think, Mike D.
