Conditions: cool & wet, socked in above 2600'
Parking: Upper Pinnacle lot

Trails (1): Stowe Pinnacle Trail to Pinnacle
Conditions- damp trail with good drainage, a few wet & muddy spots. Heavy traffic up & down (very popular local hike) with some loud & obnoxious folks.

Trails (2): Ridge Trail to (& from) Skyline trail
Conditions: peacefully silent in the damp clouds. The upper steeps in the softwood trees very muddy & slick with almost the entire trail running a stream. Boulders extremely(!!) slippery on the descent. For the most part, this trail steeply follows the fall line with some unnatural twists & turns. Poor footing on upper half with poor erosion control & faded blazing. One large blowdown in the ledges.

Trails (3): Skyline Trail north
Peaks: Hogback & Worcester
Conditions: wonderful soggy solitude on the ridgeline! MANY ups and downs over the 3 mile stretch, the low sags extremely deep mud and poor crossing- definately an obstacle in two large areas. Otherwise, a spectacular soft singletrack trail through impressive moss covered boulders & ledges and mossy enchanted softwood forests. Much blowdown removal recently tended to by the LTP from the recent storms.
