We hit the Valley on Wed AM. No problem parking in the overnght lot near Happy Trails but the croo there said that most lots are full and closed by Noon everyday. Weekends are probably worse, so get there early. All the campgrounds looked full.
We left on Friday to a zoo coming in (getting in and out can be slow traffic wise especially if you get stuck behind a slow moving trailer).
Mist Trail was great and there was a lot of foot traffic (mostly to Vernal)
We took the JMT down after spending a few nights at Little Yosemite and can't recommend it due to the stock (horses and mules) that don't observe LNT principals on the trail. Yuck!
