Trail Conditions: Great conditions on both the road and the trail. The snow from last week set things up, and then Sunday night into today added another few inches of powder.
Special Equipment Required: We wore skis the whole time. Certainly plenty of snow for snowshoes too. Flotation needed--far too much to bareboot anyplace. A couple of slightly thin patches in the woods before you get to the beaver ponds, and you can see a few rocks and roots sticking up still, but only needs another small snowfall and those few places won't be noticeable.
Comments: Great to have such perfect conditions after having waited for a longer time this winter. No other cars in the big lot on 302. Only one other skier (maybe slept in the hut?) coming out.
