Trails: Zealand, Twinway, Zealand Spur, North Twin Spur, North Twin Trail
Trail Conditions: As of Friday, trails had a dusting of snow to a couple of inches past the hut, icy spots in places heading up to the Zeacliff outlook on the Twinway. The brook crossing on Zealnd Trail was surprising tricky because of ice on the rocks but still rock hopable about fifteen feet upstream in the woods. The two crossings above the hut were tricky as well because of ice and hidden ice under snow. The third crossing on Litte River along the North Twin Trail was difficult but three of us found a way to cross using rocks and one of us used the downed tree. Bypassed first two crossings on the well beaten herd path. Haystack and Zealand Road are still open!
Special Equipment: light traction, poles would have been very useful for brook crossings.
