Thanks for the TR and reminder that this section of the LT is on my list to do soon! We still have Ellen to do to finish off our NE67 list, and it looks like doing this stretch from one gap to the other would be a great way to hit that peak. :)

We did end up calling Stratton Motel, and had them help us with a shuttle last weekend to complete our hike on the AT over the Bigelows. Very friendly and worked out great. We'll likely be calling them for a shuttle later in the summer when we do the section from Rt. 4, Rangeley to Rt. 27, Stratton.
