Sawyer River Road conditions?

The Forest Service Web site is still listing Sawyer River Road as open... just curious, has anyone been out there since Saturday's snowfall and can confirm the road is still drive-able?

I do have 4WD but I get nervous about getting stuck anyway.

RickB was there on Sunday 12/31 and posted to the trail conditions. He mentioned the road was open but didn't give a detailed report. You may want to email him. I was there on Friday and the road was good then.

Sawyer River Road Closed

They closed Sawyer River Road this morning. I talked to the Saco Ranger Dist this morning about something else and asked them since I had seen your post.

Oops, I was headed there too.

Also closed now are Slippery Brook & Jefferson Notch.
