Anyone have a good website or recipe for putting together a sled that can be towed while carrying a child so that kid's parents can get out and stretch their legs a bit?

Should of thought of this when I got a Burley Cart over a Chariot! I'm going homemade now for the sled!

Heh heh... You will get a workout. I pulled Amanda up Livermore Road (skating) in a rental pulk, which had been dragged over the pavement, and which was not particularly smooth on the bottom, and I was spent at the top. I had to V2 all the way down to keep up with my wife who was more-or-less downhill skiing. She was probably 6 months and 15 pounds. As I recall, she slept the entire time, and both ways in the car too. So much for anyone sleeping that night.

The Burley trailer is far less effort to pull behind a bicycle, I can tell you!
