Lots of snow on the Ammo trail, very lovely.
NO views on this cloudy and very warm (30s) day. Trail was fine all the way up, but then hard to decipher above treeline. Any water crossings frozen over and snowed over as of today.
I was hoping to climb Monroe too, but there was near zero visibility at the top, so I had to turn back. I'll be back.
Wore snowshoes the whole way up and back. Most others on the trail were wearing snowshoes, at least up until treeline, a few wore plastic boots and crampons. Lots of nice people on the trail on this warm day.
