Off Trail 3k hill in Southern Vermont.

Hike started off at about 1460' on Moffitt Hollow Rd. A one lane rough dirt road off of Sandgate Rd. Follow the dirt path on the other side of the gate and across the creek.
Special Equipment: No more snow anywhere except tiny pockets on the North Side of the peak. Bug net for head would be helpful. Lots of black flies until about 2800' then bug free enough to relax in the sun on the clearings here and there. That'll change soon I'm sure.
Comments: Most of this off trail hike followed old woods roads, some more obvious than others. Another cool hill in another beautiful area of Vermont. I didn't find the register although I know there's one up there. Darn. This would be a great beginner off trail for practicing with a map and compass.
