Been reading about this hike on RoT from Rocket 21, Amicus, Carole and been waiting for a good day to go for it.Great views from ledges of the lakes and a unique perspective on the Whites. Highly recommended.Mt Flagg rules!

Impossible not to enjoy that loop on a decent day, I'd say. Of the views, when I looked north from the summit knob of Flagg, what struck me most was Mt. Washington looming directly over the hooked summit cone of Chocorua. Trail Bandit deserves much credit for his efforts over the years to preserve two wonderful trails that were fading away.
