Trails generally in good shape with a few short muddy stretches. Upper Glencliff and BentonTrails had a couple of inches of snow. Carriage Road near the summit had some drifts to Knee deep but the footway avoided those. Tunnel Brook Trail is a bit tricky to follow at the height-of-land, adding to the amusement of the group at the expense of the person in front. A few minor blowdowns on the trip. Stream crossings were not bad.
We carried traction which we didn't use. Poles were really helpful on the slick, thin snow cover and on the leaf-covered rollers on the way down.
Beautiful day with light winds, long views and comfortable temps. This is a great loop trip with varied terrain and views.
