Trail Conditions:

Very wet, but there was over 1" of rain within the last 24 hours. Steam crossing was a good challenge today! Wet leaves, ponding and mud/leave puddles, and the trail itself was quite a stream much of the way to the jct. of the Sosman trail.

Good sized blowdown a few hundred yards after the first crossing of the brook that should be cleared out... it wasn't there on the way UP the trail!!

Otherwise, the trail is in good shape, and in a day or so there will be no water issue.

Special Equipment Required:

Water proof boots and gaiters were really important today. No traction needed, poles are a given for me, and really help on challenging stream crossings.

If anyone know who takes care of this trail, let them know there is a fresh blowdown a few hundred yards after the first crossing.
