I've hiked with her, but can't remember which peak offhand.

Her friend Ralph Gibbs also mentioned in the article is one of the few black NE peakbaggers which may deserve an article itself. Apparently he once got frostbite on a trip and didn't recognize it right off. I was going to ask him about it when I met him, but the trip leader forbade the question "Did your skin turn white?"
