Used the Marble Mountain approach and Wilmington Route. Snowshoes all the way on hardpack surface. Some breaking crust on final approach. 10 to 20 degrees with clear weather. At Esther, I decided to follow old snowshoe track down to the first culvert on the Memorial Highway. This bushwhack was very tough. I need to know what hardy person or persons made this ascent of Esther about a week or more ago? Thanks.
