Conditions: A few inches to around two feet of new snow on top of the crusty base.
Comments: We are very grateful to the AMC Maine Chapter group of six who broke trail just ahead of us. The snow was wet and sticky, so trying to slide down the steep portions of trail were useless. We probably wouldn't have made it to the summit ourselves without their trail finding and breaking. It snowed most all day so there were no views. We'll be back again.
