trails: pine bend brook, mt. tripyramid

conditions: trails in summer condition minus a handful of small snow/ice patches that are pretty much inconsequential. mostly dry down low with some short stretches of mud. rocks a little wet and slick in spots heading up north peak. numerous small blowdowns down low and some large ones that obscure the trail in a couple spots. a few large ones on the ridge before and after the scaur ridge trail junction. ridge was clear minus one i dragged off and one duck under. woods heading to scaur were dry.

equipment: packed and dressed for summer.

comments: nice day on tripyramid. a few degrees cooler would have been nice, but a good splash in the cold water running down the ravine cooled things off nicely. followed mostly various herd paths up to scaur peak. searched around a bit for a canister on what i percieved to be the high point, but couldn't find one. did find what could have been an old mossy cairn?
nice to be out. quiet out there today.
