Is the access road showing on the map to Lower Ausable Lake open to public vehicule? If yes what is its conditions and can we park a car at the end and lunch a canoe or kayak on the lake?

The road down to Ausable lake is on private land. If you are not a member of the Ausable Club (or a resident of Keene or a member of the ATIS doing trail maintenance) and able to ride their bus you must walk the road. Bikes are not allowed. Also, the lake is off limits to non members as is bushwacking on the AMR land, swimming in the streams on AMR property and bringing your dog along for a trip.

I was looking at a new way to reach Haystack. I will go from the Garden in Keen. That is probably the easiest way.
