For all of you out there who had provided me with info/advice, and for anyone else who may care...
We left Benson 8:30 am Friday October 8th, and ended up at Averyville Rd. at 12:45 pm October 16th. We had a successful trip and a GREAT time! The weather held up great, no rain at all while we were hiking, just a few showers a couple evenings. No bears visited(guess the canister works?), although we did see tracks of both moose and bear at several places along the trail. Trail is in pretty good shape. Not too much mud, but quite a bit of blowdown in several areas. It was a terrific trip.
