Trail was hard-packed from bottom to top. A few minor icy spots, not bad. Technical crux was the icy driveway. The crossing was safe and easy. There were a couple of large blowdowns that we made passable. Several large step-over tree trunks remain but are easily skirted.

We wore microspikes for the entire hike and they were optimal.

Beautiful, clear day with light winds. We encountered a few happy fellow hikers/hiker dogs, as glad to be out as we were. Giff and I are in our 40th year of doing winter 4K's together.
